Dancing in the rain

Lots accomplished today, actually still working on it.
Will post pictures tomorrow.
Dancing in the rain is good for the soil.

Tonight as we finish up our day, a friend's daughter is in need of prayers.
I went to school with Larry and he is the sweetest person.
Please say a prayer for their beautiful daughter as tomorrow is a big day for them.

Lots of rain

I think it has been raining for 24 hours straight, maybe longer.
Oh goodness we needed the rain.
Oh goodness, my yard needed mowed BEFORE the rain.
With it coming down in sheets for hours, we spent the majority of the day inside.
Our neighbors had a big party until 2 in the morning and then poor Harper kept us up after that.
Molars.
Molars.
Molars.
And Canine teeth.
Three molars coming in at once, one already in.
Four canine teeth working their way in as well.
Teething has been nicer with the necklace but still the baby girl hurts.
She would just cry in her sleep and then toss for hours.
The husband probably managed three or four hours, I probably managed three hours of sleep.
Tonight, there is no party and the baby is asleep.
At least for now.

Harper is also obsessed with babies.
If she sees one or hears one, she does everything in her power to see it.
On Wednesdays at dance, she gets to touch Ian.
Ian is Anna and Ben's little newborn brother.
I think this is what makes her baby crazy.
She LOVES babies.

Today we decided it would be a perfect day to make pumpkin pie play doh for party favors.
Busy Saturday next weekend so we went ahead and did it today.
Lets just say after 10 tries total, only a few make the cut.
Each batch was exactly the same.
We make play doh around our house often but today was a fail.
BIG fail.
Enough to cause tears and the husband shutting down the operation.
BIG fail.
Lets just say Pumpkin pie play doh will NOT be this years party favor.
My hands, they are burnt, stained and peeling.

The husband and I also tackled our closet.
So far we have one entire tahoe load of clothes and shoes to be donated.
Many in perfect condition.
I know we are going to take some up to the Church but if you know of a good place, let me know.
Great stuff!!

This is just the cutest Invitation.
I ordered from here and have been very pleased.
We added the first names instead of the bells or the so and so.
Fall showers, they are just the best.
Now, I just need to print and address the super cute bronze envelopes.
Hoping for a good crowd, guessing around 100 even with all the other events going on that night.

HG loves us to Crested Butte and beyond.

Lots of rain!

Harper is now standing alone and taking steps.
Her first steps were in the treadmill.
Super safe I know.

HG has been working on Halloween crafts.
We spray painted pumpkins and then she wrote BOO.
Today after a dr appointment for HG (just a recheck pretty much), we stopped at the McDonald's not far from our house.
Either way you leave our house, you will pass TWO Mc Donald's.
Two in less than four miles.
ick!
This one has recently put in a new play area and HG asked a few times to go.
She wanted to sip her ice cream and play.
We were the ONLY people playing for almost a full hour and a half.
The staff came in twice to clean and sweep while we were there.
I'm sure it was a mixture of them being bored and hosting tons of play dates each week.
Both girls had a blast.
A blast I tell you.
As we were gathering our items to leave, two families came in so we stuck around a bit longer.

If you follow us on IG then you know she loves this seat.
Such a great smile while another molar and the tooth next to it burst through!
My new place mats.
Love them.
No, my kids will not ever eat off them.
Maybe a tea party.
With fake food.
ha.
.
.
Oh just a little bunny.
She really wore this for two hours today.
So funny!

Harper's hematoma she blew out.
She is still doing great, just waiting to see if indeed this was blocking her tear duct or not.

More craft times for HG.
Today I am thankful for Schools where God still exists.
We say this in the mornings and HG says it with her class mates at school.

Slowly but surely we are putting out our fall and Halloween decorations.
I hope to finish this weekend.
I don't have much left but this weekend is our only free time until Harper's Birthday weekend.

The beaded runner, pillows and a few other things were super scores at Sam Moon today.

Tonight we celebrated fall and cooler temps with Chili soup (a meatless soup) and cornbread.

Family weekend

What a weekend!
Sunday came far too fast. The weather warmed much hotter than should be legal for fall.

Gloria's, we love you. Your bean is out of this world. Harper was shoveling it in as fast as she could. Your margaritas are small and so yummy. Yet so strong. Poppy treated us to dinner, so nice.

Sunday, we carried a couch and coffee table to my sister in Dallas and had lunch at Ozona. HG was crying most of the way home for Auntie Collins. She ( WE!)love our Collins. The husband and I always always forget about Ozona, love that place. From Keller, it is about an hour with out much traffic so quite the drive. Bloody Mary bar on Sunday sure looked good, perfect for the football crowd they bring in. Sunday was finished with Mass and Spaghetti. I just threw stuff together for the sauce, added a little milk and simmered. Amazing!

This week started off with a bang. Harper sneezed out a hematoma or so the doctors think that is what it is while we were at Hobby Lobby. Pretty scary and odd but we have had a world of people call and check on her. Doctors included. Her Plastic Surgeon called again today. She was just fine when it happened and fine ever since that we can tell. One molar is in and another pushing through causing some pain but otherwise pretty mellow. Everyone is wondering if this was pushing against her tear duct causing it to remain clogged. With all the probes and surgeries you would wonder why no one ever saw it. Well they only went in through the tear duct. This is a tiny tube. Once in, they couldn't get the stint in, it was as if her tear duct just stopped or did a turn. What they are hoping is that this was pressing into her tear duct causing it to be cut off. So far, her eye has been good. Only time will tell. ENT Monday and Plastic Surgeon in a few weeks. Of course, I have fingers and toes crossed they are right.

Tuesday while HG was at school, Harper and I finished our errands for the week had lunch at Costco and worked on showers. I'll post the invitations soon, they are too cute. I am getting a night away, alone without the baby girls in big D. What on earth am I going to do with myself? This will be the first time Chris has kept the girls, ever I think both at same time. My prayers have started that they go easy on him, they survive and that Aunt Collins can help. :) I can see him wearing make up, dancing to Harper playing piano while HG is on the guitar and in princess gear. A friend today laughed and said, oh he needs to keep those babies alright. She laughed and said, he'll be in bed by 8. While I am so excited, I am SO nervous. So nervous about them. I guess that is only natural?

Ranger evening games are just a no go for us. The husband and I yes, perfect evening if just us or even hg. With a 7:05 game time and a baby that likes to go to bed at 7, it makes for a challenging evening. Last night was full of a disrespectful group guys. Bad words, standing so no one could see, chugging beers, singing and acting fools. That always makes for a great night siting in the seat next to them holding a baby. I made the husband leave early but still by the time we grabbed his car and drove home it was 11:30. Dance came early for HG today and Harper let me stay in bed until 8:20. In bed, not asleep but in bed. :) tonight, Harper Love was begging to go to sleep at 5.

We can't believe tomorrow is Thursday. Thursday! Work week is almost over. School tomorrow and the husband is having a guys afternoon at the ballpark. Harper and I plan on a lazy day....if there is ever such a thing.
