Flood Three

Yes, you read that correctly.
Flood THREE happened at our house.
Not sure if it is a sign.
Or Karma.
We may or may not have been checking out a few houses the day before.
Maybe our washing machine got word of it.
Either way, the washer broke.
A busted hose and no telling what else.
It is amazing how fast the water filled the downstairs.
I'm talking less than 10 minutes.
The husband ran down the street quickly and the girls and I were home.
HG ran into the kitchen, slipped and fell.
I heard it and thought it was strange.
I mean it sounded like a splash park.
That is never a good sound coming from inside the home.

Luckily, she was just fine but this momma wasn't.
Harper was down for a nap during and the husband was pulling up in the drive way.
I was freaking out.
The water, it covered the entire downstairs.
So for now, we are in a big two room suite at the Hampton Inn.
I have covered everything in lysol more than once.
Wiped everything down a million times.
Even cleaned the shower myself.
I'm working hard to keep the girls well.
Two more sinus infections and those crazy adenoids are coming out.

 The wood is gone.
I LOVED the wood.
I don't think we can get the exact floor.

The wood is out, the floor through out is bare concrete with 34 fans and 3 humidifiers.
So hard for the girls not to be able to go downstairs.
Lets not even talk about the noise.
Goodness, the noise.
Harper sleeps nicely in it though, kind of a white noise to her.

HG at dance today with a smile on her face.

Fall Mini Sessions

We have pictures with Captivated Cadence two weeks ago and couldn't be more pleased. Heidi is super sweet and just a doll. Both girls loved her as did the husband and I. We are all so glad we met her at Harper's 2nd Birthday party at the Deckers.  We look forward to more pictures and have sent a few locals her way.

Great Wolf Lodge

The husband arranged for a night and another full day at GWL.
The last time we headed there, I was a mere 8 weeks pregnant with Harper Love.
The site of the rolling waters had me wanting to toss my cookies.
Lets not even talk about what happened when I went ankle deep.
So I was just as excited as HG was.
Well, actually more so,
HG had no earthly idea.
We've known for a couple of weeks and knew she would be super duper excited.
Not only did we have a great weekend last week, Halloween this week AND she was line leader all week, she got to take Ollie home.
So Ollie and GWL, it was a four year olds dream.

I will say, Harper probably loved it all more than us three combined.

 Fist pump!
Ha, she was really waving to every single person there.

Week days are perfect.
Weeks days during the school year.
Weekends are nuts.
We left today and it was FULLLLLLLL.
Yesterday and today until 2, no lines and perfect amount of people.
Looking forward to heading back early in 2013.

Last weekend - Texarkana

Last weekend we headed to Texarkana for a couples shower for Brooke and Todd.
The shower was so nice and beautiful at the Courts house.
Both girls love going to Txk so they can see their Poppy.
Lucky for us, he had just been here during the week with us so both girls were eager to get there.
Traffic was rough of course heading out of town but after arriving, it was smooth sailing.
Friday night was Zapata's, our treat to dad for letting us take over his house.
Saturday, the two men braves Lee's Catfish with the girls while I handled the shower.
I think it was a hit with the girls!
Sunday, we spent the afternoon with Sulphur Springs with our wonderful family there.
HG would live next door to them if possible.

So yes, you could say we have had a busy two weeks!

Happy (late) Halloween

Just a few days late on a Halloween post.
We've been at the Great Wolf Lodge playing so please forgive us.
Halloween is always such fun but I love Target the day after Halloween.
And Walmart.
And Kroger.
And Walgreens.
Heck, I'll take anything 50% off candy or costume wise.
HG loves to dress up.
On Halloween night, The Franklins and the Bells came over.
Good times.
Trick or Treating.
Chili
Lots of sweets and Ocktober beer.
Looking forward to next year already.
