Banana Pudding overload

As I type this blog, i just managed to finish my third bowl of banana pudding.

THREE BIG BOWLS.
The dairy of course kills my belly but it is oh so yummy.
I do it pretty simple.
Lots of bananas, Nilla Waffers, Whipped Cream, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla pudding.
Make pudding, add the can of condensed milk and half of whipped cream.
Stir well.
Layer the Nilla waffers, bananas and pudding mixture.
Set in fridge over night.
Or as long as you can stand it.
This was us trying on jeans today.
Girl only has on pair of jeans for our up coming trip to much cooler temps.
HG had some paint time toda.
Yeah, that only lasted a short bit and then she was bored.
So that was when we made the banana pudding.
I lock them both in there.
Lunch dates today.
Baby Harper slept the entire time.
Naked babies in the yard.
What is left of my third bowl.
PLaying with the mac n cheese rather than eating it.
HG made mac n cheese for dinner tonight with her chicken and celery.
Finger painting outside.

We are heading into what we hope is a low key weekend.
Next week is a big week for us.
Travels, surgery, family in town.
We really need to move plastic containers into the attic garage but it will be 104 tomorrow and 106 Sunday.
Goodness, that is hot even thinking about it.

HG four

Oh HG.
Oh my mini me.
I still think you look a lot like your daddy.
And Grand-mommy.
But as you get older, goodness I see me.
You are by far the funniest little girl I have ever met.
SO much attitude.
SO much drama queen.
But you love snuggle time still.
Please don't ever loose that, even if it happens at 5am.
You love your friends and family so much for a little girl of four.
Always worried about each one.
Unless of course it is Harper and she is screaming.
I love how caring you are for all your friends.
I think we have Chef on our hands. You constantly want to cook. And I know why I craved sweets so bad when I was pregnant with you. You would make cookies and brownies all day long and eat them if I would let you.
You still don't eat PBJ's. Sweet heart, I hope you change that. :)

Freckles. Let's talk freckles. Angel kisses. They are too.freaking.cute. Oh goodness, I could just kiss each one.

You are the most precious gift God could ever give.

Favorite color at four is purple.
Favorite day is Taco Tuesday. Ha!
Favorite thing is Ariel and the princesses and IPad.
Favorite show is Doc McStuffins.
Favorite food is grilled chicken, brownies, asparagus, RANCH and Mac n cheese.

Your weight is 40-41 pounds depending on the day.
At your four year check up, you had to get four shots and Mommy wanted to cry with you. Shots are definitely harder when older. You were so nervous.
With weight, you are in the 80th percentile and over 90th percentile for height (41inches). You are only two pounds heavier than last July but Dr Knapp said that was normal.

Mommy, Daddy and Harper love toy to the moon and back!

Birthday Weekend

We loaded up and headed east this weekend. Saturday was HG's actual birthday even though we had been celebrating all week.

Never fails when we head out of town, it takes an army to get us gone. Friday started out with a doctor appointment for Harper. Besides being 19 1/2 pounds, they are going to do a 3 week trial of a reflux medicine. My girls have mastered the art of puking. After seeing Dr Knapp, we headed to Steak n Shake. HG loves this place , loves it. She always eats all her food and half of mine. It is kind of embarrassing that our lunch dates take us there but she eats and it is cheap. But still, it is steak n shake!

A friend of mine just delivered her third child so we dropped off casseroles, biscuits and banana bread for the weekend. HG loved seeing her best buddy from school as well so we stuck around and let the girls play. Sweet little Ian is 7 1/2 pounds and 18 inches long. That is larger than Harper was but he seemed so tiny, so fragile. It was really hard for me to remember back on Harper being that small. It will definitely give you baby fever........for about two minutes and then you remember your 9 month old is still not sleeping through the night. I'm hoping she does by a year.

I pulled through a car wash with the girls on the way home from my friends and somehow gum ended up on my ride. At first, my initial thought was pink foam. A few more washes later, i realized it was gum. Have you ever tried to get gum off? With screaming kids? Yeah, not the easiest! The husband came to the rescue. Just as we finished, it started storming like crazy. Our flowers needed rain SO bad but my car also needed to be loaded. Two hours later, it is still coming down and Harper had popped in the tub. Big massive poop. See the trend here? I think everything was trying to keep us at home. 7:30 hit and we were finally pulling out of the drive. Drenched.

Once we landed in Texarkana, we were tickled pink we had fought through all the hiccups and made the trip. My brother, sister in law and their too cute for words daughter were in town . We don't get to see them often as we don't get down to Houston much so we were excited. Mom and Collins were in town too. I know Poppy loved having us all there. He loved it so much that he got a hotel room. Ha! The girls enjoyed playing and seeing each other. HG also had her cousin Taylor come play on Saturday. Family everywhere!

Saturday was Lyndsey and Marshall's wedding. Too much fun. Way too much wine. And probably too many Lone Star light Blondes. Oh well, good friends and good food should be accompanied by good drinks. We also might have tore up the dance floor. Yeah, not much of a dancer. I'm sure we made it very entertaining for all the elderly family members of the wedding party. Ha.

As all fun and good things do, our weekend came to an end. As I type, we are pulling through Royce City heading home. We are also pulling a uhaul. My friend Brooke drove by and called me laughing. Leave it to us, we always keep life an adventure. Speaking of Brooke, Saturday morning we went and looked for Bridesmaid dresses. Such fun!! Lucky for us, my brother, sister in law and niece will be in DFW in 10 days and then we will get to see them again a month later in Houston. HG is very excited!! :)
