What a sunny day around here!

We met Terri and Kalli at a small water park today in Irving.
Goodness, what fun we had!
The place was packed by the time we left but luckily, we arrived before they opened.
Poor gal woke with her allergies kickin' this morning and puffy, swollen eyes.

HG writing her letters.
Harper love refused to sleep this morning.
We were in Irving and I did not think she needed to wake everyone up at 7.
After all, we were up well after 2 am.
The two of us headed to Starbuck's for breakfast and then to Albertson's.
I sware, Starbuck's must have used whole milk because I was SICK AS A DOG for a few hours.
Bad sick.
Or maybe the coffee cake was bad?
Either way, I hadn't been sick like that in a long, long, long time.
The small kid area, there is also a fully covered toddler area to the right of this.
We have the park rented out for HG's birthday for a couple of hours.
She is stoked.
I enjoyed some alone time with HG tonight.
I think we both loved it and needed it.
Things like that are hard to come by around here these days.
She loves these twins, baby Meredith and baby Addison.
Harper loved the pool.
She must have been worn out because she crashed a little after 6 tonight.
That can only mean one thing..or two.
She will wake 5-6 am.
OR she will wake in the middle of the night for an hour or two.
Maybe I will get lucky.
She was out for 3 hours after swimming.
Don't worry, I corrected her seat belt after this picture.
The big slides.
One of our daily summer reads.
This is a great book for HG's age.
We read a story and then talk about it.
Albertson's had their McCormmick spices on sale for 50 cents.
They are normally 1.59 so I was excited.
As we walked up, they were discounting their hanging baskets to $2!!!
I only grabbed HG two because Chris just told me not to be carrying flowers in my new car for a while.
HA, I partly minded.
I seriously wanted to buy them all.
Ice cream at the pool.
Simply summer time.
Th husband and I headed to dinner last night after the girls bedtime.
We headed to Javier's in Dallas for Mexican and margaritas.
I should have taken a picture before heading out, we looked hot and puke free!!
This one was taken well into our night, actually on our way home.
WAAAAAAAAAAY past our bedtime.
We ended meeting up with some friends.
Did you know turtles like popcorn?
Harper napping along side the pool today.
Such a sweetie.
Changing diapers.

With HG napping 3 hours this evening and waking shortly before 7, she is still awake.
We finally got her to shower the sunscreen and chlorine off her.
I think she and the husband might make an ice cream run before making her return to bed at 10.
I would rather have a king size pack of Reese's peanut butter cups.
I laugh at the thought that she might actually go back to sleep three hours after she got a long nap.

Tomorrow will be another fun filled day.
We get to spend the day with Poppy and Auntie Collins.
HG wants them HERE when she wakes.
She is not very patient is she?

Picture catch up again

Play doh after dinner one evening.
Her teachers gave each child a deal of play doh on their tropical day.
Girl loves some Steak n Shake.
Gross huh?
My sweetie pie.
The water still confuses her when it comes out.
HG on her last day of school.
She was ready to run and hula dance.
Field Day is called Tropical Day at her school.
They sleep so well in our beds.

This gal has been up so much lately.
As in four times a night.
For weeks.
Hopefully we're on the uphill.
Until the next tooth I am sure.
My Mother's Day surprise.
I have always wanted one.
Is it strange that I enjoy vacuuming my house?
The beautiful flowers from the husband.
Sleeping beauty.
HG could pick any pool.
She chose this one.
I think we need another one already.
A little crowded.

Meet Henry

My new ride.
Yes, beyond excited.
I needed it BAD.
Bad is really an understatement.
HG named it.
Funny though.
I love the name Henry, so classic.
It was my grandfather's first name and she had no idea.
It was definitely more than I was looking at but with the deal we got, only 50 miles on it and 0 % financing, I could not pass it up.
I guess I'll be washing it a lot, it is black!

Play dates and craziness

We met our friends this morning at a local McDonald's to play. The girls and I have been a few times for ice cream and have been very lucky. The place has been empty. We once spent 2 1/2 hours playing. We hadn't been on a Thursday though. Apparently on Thursday, each week is kids club. Great! We were looking for a little quiet play time and it ended up being pretty full. I will say the lady in charge is good at her job. For the most part, the kids were well behaved. Seems the kids who showed up late, were the loud and misbehaving ones. Glad our friends are good sports because there were some questionable little ones in the group. I heard HG scream my name and I honestly thought she was about to hit a kid. Not a push or shove either. Yep, he was one of the questionable kids. We did enjoy our time with our friends among the excitement! Operation Bell's backyard is about to begin.

The cross below is a housewarming gift from Mrs Nicole. If I was on my iPad, I would link her page. She is just the sweetest thing God ever made and such a huge heart. Her Mom made it too! Love! Thank you!!

More picture catch up

I'm sure our neighbors love us. This was well before 9 in the morning. On a weekend.
Boots (below) enjoys stealing the toys and running with them.
Oh the screams that come out of Hailey Grace.

Love these shoes!
HG singing Taylor Swift at Carino's in Texarkana for the patio diners.

Playing in the oh so cold sprinkler.
Harper's first tooth when it came in.
She got one two months earlier than HG.
I was not prepared for this.
Or the waking 4 times a night for the last three weeks.
Good grief!
Dancing at lunch one day.
A happy baby in Little Rock on a stroll.
Love this gal.
She lives in Little Rock and I love that I finally get to see her more often.
Camo is at training school so HG decided to dig in his hole.
Sweet gal not wanting to wake from a nap.
Yes, I still make her nap or rest for 2 hours at nearly 4 years old.
Works out well for both of us.
Harper grabbed the lime off the table and went to town on it.
Teething much? Or maybe just making big sister laugh.
Snow cones equal summer!!
This girl has super strong core muscles.
Another snap of Stephanie and Harper.
This was the day her tooth pretty much came through, not a happy day for her.
She loves George.
George belongs to HG.
I think the pasta did HG in that night.
Two silly girls.
Oh how we love spending the day with Megan.
Aren't these flowers simply amazing?
They line the outside of Mom and Scott's house.
Poppy and HG on the lawn mower.
Poppy recently ran over a 5-6 foot snake.
Snake away anyone?
Julie's Deli in Texarkana is most of our lunches when home.
Their food is just so yummy and the sweetest staff in the whole wide world.
(saying that in my most southern voice)
