We're here

We are still alive.
Back from Colorado.
Had a great Christmas.
Out house shopping and lunch with Uncle Ryan and Poppy today.
Will catch up on pictures this week.
Hopefully......
I finally got something that has been on the the top of my wish list the last four years....each year we were either having babies, moving, lost babies, etc so money was put else where. This year, we are healthy, happy, no babies for another year plus and not moving for a few more days.....can't wait to share.

Crested Butte

We made it to Crested Butte.
We're all in one piece and Miss HG is much better.
Never fails, someone always gets sick.
We weren't even 3 hours into the trip and HG gets sick.
The husband and I play it off as car sickness.
It continued.
We actually had to stop in Dalhart because she was getting so sick.
Poor girl, ran a fever and got sick until 6 ish in the morning.
At one point, it spiked to 103.
Her pedi just happened to be on call and we sent messages back and forth all night.
Goodness, I love her.
Today is the first day HG has actually eaten and it was pretty much me force feeding her.
She has also been down for a 3 hour nap.
Hopefully our little funny kid will be back.

Random place for gas stations.
We cut across by Trinidad and took US 69 to US 50.
Very scenic and beautiful ride.
Amish buggies and all.
Entertaining us on the drive.
I think I unclogged her tear duct.
We started the drops, I massage it a few times a day and a warm compress.
It exploded and then started pussing green.
Ever since, it looks pretty good.
Little Sister.
Please excuse the little bottom.
I love little bottoms though.
Check out that bath tub.

My sleeping beauty today.
Catching up on her rest while the others play.
Miss HG finally dressed but still resting.
We are 3 hours behind at this point.
It was well worth the rest for her.
The snow bunny passed out.
We left this for the below picture.

Pulling into the mountains.

Tomorrow, we are heading to the Children's museum while the husband skies.

Merry Christmas

Our Christmas and announcement cards turned out just perfect.
Kristen has so much talent.
I highly recommend her.

I have a few more to drop off today (the end of the alaphabet!) and hopefully they will all be out.
I always miss one or two that I will be rushing to get in the mail.

We're off tomorrow for our family trip.
Hailey Grace wants to pack swim suits and princess dresses.

I really don't have an excuse why I haven't updated our blog,
I mean besides a newborn and an acting our 3 year old, the good old computer gets the back burner.
We have been having a little fun around here though......
We have been home for almost a week after spending a week in Texarkana.
I still tried to address my grandfather a Christmas card.
So hard to believe he is gone after nearly 32 years with him.
Monday was tea party day at American Girl.
Tuesday we had school and tons of errands.
Wednesday we had lunch at AC and cleaned.
Thursday was more cleaning, Walmart starting to pack bags.
Today is a dance practice and then a play date.
The girls are making pizza.
Tomorrow is more dance practice if I can keep her motivated.
Sunday is the big dance recital.
Wonder if she will stand there with her fingers in her mouth?
I almost pulled her on Wednesday.
We really want to be in Austin at Kristen's house.
She is having an ugly sweater party that we know will be so fun.
But, HG is so excited about her first recital and wearing make up.
It made me realize just how important it is to her.
I couldn't break her little heart.
Not to mention we leave on Wednesday evening for a trip.
We have something going on each day until we leave.
C's boss is also in town.
He will have to be packed on Sunday.
And we don't leave until Wednesday evening.
We are both that busy.
He comes home from our trip, flies out the next day.
Home on the 23rd.....
We are doing Christmas this year on the 23 rd with my brothers and sister in law.
Everyone is busy moving, flying, working and house shopping this year.
Lucky Collins will get to see a lot of her girls.

Hopefully I will get to post while in Crested Butte.
Have Not decided if I will ski or not.
It is still pretty close to my surgery.
I can feel the knot where they tied every thing off growing smaller.
It will stick around 3 months.
I just can't wait to breathe in that wonderful cold air.
Maybe excited about drinking a local Colorado beer too.

We are off to enjoy our house smelling like peppermint.
We have like 75 days left in this little place.
Still have not decided on a house but closer.

Thursday

I wasn't aware that the pictures are really grainy (is this a word) when I blog from my cell.
Whoops.
We're still kickin' it out here in East Texas.
Lots of family time.
Lots of room to run.
Saw some friends.
We eat our weight in food at each meal.
Oh that good ole East Texas fried catfish.
We can't leave out the Mexican food too.
Cookies and cake too.
Oh goodness.
Not helping my hips go back down.
Not one bit.

This afternoon, we played up at Megan's shop.
Always such fun.
Tonight we are really putting up the tree.
It keeps getting put off.
HG will love it, he will let her decorate how ever she pleases.
The count down is on for Christmas.
I think I have just a couple of gifts left to buy.
Two weeks until our trip.
Can.not.wait.
A week until HG's dance recital.
We are debating on it.
We might pull her.
She has been to 3 classes out of 12.
Maybe better luck next May.
Plus, that is the Sunday before we leave.
Family is in town.
Decisions decisions.

Well Sponge Bob is on the tv and I can't stand it.
I must go rescue my poor little one's brain.
I'm sure she is thrilled to be watching it and getting away with it.

Miss Priss had an accident today.
She was playing with a friend and did not want to walk all the way to the potty.
Oh yeah.
100% pure laziness.
New pink Uggs, covered.
I was highly upset.

Today marks 90 days for us to find a house.
90 days can seem like a long time but really it flies.
December is booked.
Two trips. Christmas.
January, the husband has two trips and we have a trip.
Then it is February.
Regardless, we are thrilled for a new house!

Thanksgiving Day

I ended up cooking Thanksgiving dinner this year.
It was touch and go with my grandfather so lunch reservations were canceled and i went to work.
I must say, it was pretty easy and super yummy.
After lunch, a visit to the Gaylord and then the Bells had us fat and happy.
