Sunday lazy day

The rain finally moved out and the sun was simply beautiful. Amazing what a little sun can do for your soul. HG splashed around in dirty puddles while Harper and I cleaned out my car. It seems I can't keep it super clean with us spending so much time in it.
The last load of laundry it in the dryer. Our bags are packed for Spring Break low key style but we can't wait. The husband headed to Tampa early this morning. Both girls napped, HG 3 hours and Harper 2. Did I accomplish anything? Why sure, Lifetime movies. :)
I gave in and bought Hg more panties today and I am already in the mood to toss them. The last batch were boy underwear. No weggies. These Jessie panties, total weggie. I want to scream. My fault though.
We are half way loaded in the car for an early start. Harper has another Dr appointment, being referred to a specialist for her ears, oil change, pick up dry cleaning and hitting the road. Everything is out in Southlake and well, we are I'm downtown Dallas so we will be putting the miles on even before leaving town.
Off to enjoy my glass of red wine, Desperate Housewives and the new GCB show, I love it.

If you haven't checked out the recent pictured Kristen posted on my FB page, you should. She does amazing work. Amazing. I'll post one or two soon and link up to her photography website.

House redo

We are out of the tiny apartment and working on the new house.
The wood and carpet are both in and looks great.
The carpet scared the crap out of us as it was really dark when they opened it up. Thankfully, it looks great.
After downing three nights in Irving and wearing out the Bells, we have landed at my dad's condo in highland park. I must say, we love it over on this side of town.
Sick babies are still around. HG has rsv, Harper now has double ears and a cold. I'll get into that later. Neither are contagious really any more.
Painters got in a day early so I'm hoping they finish a day early. They started in the kitchen, the biggest project.

RSV times 2

Hailey Grace came home from school on the 29th coughing. It continued to grow worse so we ended up at the doctor the next morning. RSV. She is doing great and really no signs of it. In older kids, it is just like a cold and chest cold. Her little nose ran nonstop, clear runny snot. Between her nose and lip is still raw even though she is better.

When it rains, it pours.

The weather has put a damper on our move. We still aren't living in the new house. I guess technically we could and would survive but thankfully we have the condo for now. Temperatures are going from 40's to 80's to 70's. We will get to spend our first night there Friday.
Of course we had a blast this week while being ' home less'.  The girls and I headed to Leander to visit our friends while the husband had people in town and then headed to Kentucky. Our trip was short and sweet but between dance and school, we had to head back. We are all looking forward to a trip back down this summer.
Our house looks great. I can't wait to take good pictures and post them soon. The Master bedroom is the only one we don't love and it turned out much more bright than excepted. Bright blue at that. I will throw a can of paint on it if it still looks bad once our furniture is in. I think our favorite is the kitchen. Chocolate walls and divine white cabinets. It's a total twist from our mint walls and dark wood cabinets in Heritage.

Well, even with this weather we are headed back out there. The husband leaves early tomorrow for 5 days and we are traveling for Spring Break. I see friends, the Zoo and family in our future. Oh and good food, let's not forget that.

Breezy Weekend

Our wood floors. We LOVE them.

The kitchen was textured today. The cabinets will be painted Divine white on Monday. The walls were originally supposed to be Coconut Husk, my favorite, but the painter uses a different brand of paint. We finally agreed on another chocolate with Valspar. I am praying it looks okay. They will paint the walls on Tuesday in the kitchen.

This is the office. We went with the common house color for now until we decide how we will set this room up.

This is the Master bed room. Wow, blue right? It was much quieter on the cardstock. We might be repainting but we will try it out. The bedspread it blue and chocolate and the curtains are chocolate.

I didn't get a good picture of Harper's room. The color is called Polished Silver and it is amazing. Goodness, we are all totally in love. I wish all of our rooms were this color upstairs, the husband too.

This is HG's room. Iris Blossom and it actually looks great. She wanted purple, she got purple. The husband and I are excited that it is a purple we can live with.

Working on the dining room. The bottom will be a chocolate color. I am worried because there is so much caramel in the mocha color we picked since we couldn't use our favorite, Latte from Sherwin Williams.

So yeah, Hailey Grace has RSV.

She too sounds like a 90 year old lady who has been smoking for 60 years.

Poor gal.

Don't let it worry you that she has a virus, she is still going strong.

Made me reconsider EVER having more kids.

Ever.

Oh goodness.

Ever.

Three.

It is beyond hard.

I hear four is more challenging....

THERE IS NO WAY.

NO WAY.

She is so good when I am not around.

Shows that it is attention.

And Attitude.

After today she is for sure not contagious.

At least with the RSV stuff.

Everyone is sick in DFW.

Heck, really in the South.

My time is coming.

I just know it.

I am dreading it.

For now, I will gargle my salt water, eat far too much for energy, take my vitamins and drink my wine.

Alcohol kills germs right?

Calories provide energy right?

I bet Uncle Ryan never imagined a kid in this sink.

Lots to say about Uncle Ryan, he is going to HARVARD!!!!

We had a yummy dinner tonight.

The girls and I are loving life at the condo.

I can't get an answer from the husband.

We are not crammed.

So much to do in the area.

It is like two totally different sides of DFW.

Condo is in Highland Park.

The new house is in Southlake/Keller.

We will enjoy the condo while we are here.

I'm sure everything on this post is wild.

I am posting from the hubby's laptop.

He is a huge hp fan.

Always spaces thing crazy.

We are working on the house tomorrow, Austin Monday and Tuesday, rushing home for Dance on Wednesday then a special play day then picking up the husband.

Maybe one day, I will get to cook dinner like tonight again.

It is loading day!
We've been busy packing around here.
What is it with packing or moving that makes you snack and eat all day?
Yesterday, we headed to the condo and unloaded our items there.
With the house getting a makeover, we had to hang out somewhere else.
The truck was about a quarter full when I headed for HG.
I've gone through so many rolls of tape. I should own stock in the tape.
