Under water Easter egg hunt

Saturday morning took us on a new adventure with the girls.
 We headed to an under water egg hunt hunt but all the eggs were actually floating 
on top the water. HG thought that was the funniest thing since it said an under water egg hunt.

Fish Friday

It has been a sunshiny day in our house. All sheets and comforters washed. Toys lysoled. Lunch at Fuzzy's. Ten loads of laundry. Two loads of dishes (I promise, I didn't have that many dishes in my sink!!) Hey, I got up at 6:30. We are looking forward to good friends exchanging vows tomorrow. Trying a new burger place on Sunday, we can't wait.

Flowers

We had Harper's first appointment with her new Pediatrician this morning.
I really enjoyed meeting her and could have hugged her neck when I left.
She was so nice and personable, answered all questions and didn't give you a one way or the highway answer.
We didn't get 15 month shots and so we wouldn't have needed 4 at her 18 month appointment.
Our new Pedi doesn't do 4 at once.
I could have hugged her neck again, I don't do them either.
We ended up getting two today and will get two more at her well visit.
I am glad we made the decision to switch even though it has been eating me alive.
I feel like we really made the right decision even though it has been a hard one.
Harper is now at 23 pounds even, a big step for her.

HG picked her own yard clothes.

Wednesday evening and Thursday afternoon, we tackled the flower beds.
New red mulch, trimmed all the bushes, planted flowers, watered, etc.
The husband was very surprised I managed to trim the bushes.
And get them even with hand clippers.
I am really enjoying the red mulch, something a little outside of our traditional look.
Usually, it is solid black mulch each year.

While we were working our tail off, a yummy roast was in the crockpot.

She loves balls and call tell you the difference.
Golf ball, football, basket ball are her favs.

Spring Break Cousin style

After our Aunt, Cousin and Mia left, another set of cousins came.
We had SO much fun.
Today, Harper was looking out the front door calling Matt's name.
She took to him and he was amazing with her.
Tuesday was full of playtime and lunch at Mc Donalds.
I love being the only people in the play area and heading out when the crowd arrives.

 


Next up was park time.












Then ice cream at Braum's.
Not one but two cones.
It was a great day in their opinions.



Then we ran around the yard and threw confetti eggs until Mrs. Laura got off work.


Wednesday, we headed to Chick Fil A for a late breakfast.
We were lucky enough to be the only kids on the play area the entire time.



Next up was Let's Bounce in Keller.
It was wild and crazy so we barely made in an hour.


Then we headed to Keller Pointe to swim.
This is the water park by our house that HG talks about.
After a swim and a change of clothes, we were all starving.
HG wanted Chuck E Cheese, Kaden wanted Pizza Inn and Matt wanted CiCi's.
Rock Paper Scissors later, Matt won.
No way would I have agreed to CEC.


Baby girl was worn out.
She ate two bites of pizza thanks to Matt.
I was excited.
Texture is a huge issue.

We had SO much fun and are already missing our cousins terribly.
We can't wait to see them again soon.
HG has always wanted to live next door to them, she thinks they are the greatest.

Spring Break Part 1

Our blogger has been being a pain lately, I have asked the husband to lend a hand.

Hopefully we will come up with a better idea.

our Spring Break has been going great.

First part, we had Mia, Aunt Tonia and cousin Carly here.

Lots of laughter and hugs.

Tried a new meal, turned out well.

Spinach and cheese wrapped skirt steak.

Skirt steak isn't my favorite but it turned out good.

Shopping will wear you out.

Harper cried for 15 minutes straight when Aunt Tonia and cousin Carly left.

15 minutes solid.

Harper will get her Aunt Tonia fix, she is keeping her for 10 days soon.

10 DAYS.

I was terrible at taking pictures so hopefully Carly will email me some this weekend.

We LOVED having the chance to spend time with them.
