Indiana trip for 3

Last week the husband and I took Hailey Grace to Indianapolis with us to tour the area. Luckily for us, we made plans months ago for his mom to keep Harper and it worked out nicely. I know she had a blast, much more fun than spending countless hours in the car.

Besides eating our way through the towns north of Indianapolis, we managed to learn the different areas and help narrow down our search. We know where the location will be, in Noblesville, but we did not find a neighborhood that really made us feel at home there. Plus, the husband has to be able to get to Louisville fairly often. The towns all run together so we found many options, good school districts and private Catholic Schools. Thursday, we spent the day with a Realtor looking at houses in Westfield, Carmel, Fishers and Noblesville. While we didn't find anything we just had to make a move quickly or a builder we just had to go with, it was a ton of help. Plus, she was very honest about neighborhoods and houses. Funny, we looked at ton of houses and if we had to choose one, it would be the first one we saw. Hours and hours of looking and we would have chosen the very first one. The husband and I were impressed with the large trees through out the towns, all lush and green. It was beautiful so that will be one of the pluses living there.

Poor HG had croup the week/weekend before we left and it had turned into bronchitis by the time we arrived. So from feeling crummy to running a fever and not wanting to spend alllllllllll day in the car, she was pretty whiney. We picked up tons of medicine and rushed to the Pedi as soon as we got back. Happy to say, she is well and back at school. Praying that the sickness stays away for a while and other sick kids stay home from school!!!!!!
