Indiana State Fair

On Wednesday, we braved the Indiana State Fair.
This is something HG had been excited about for some time.
She LOVES fairs.
Any kind, anywhere.
The husband and I had no idea what to expect going into this day.
A 6 month old, a 2 1/2 year old and a nearly turned 6 year old.
This could go really good or really bad.
Each one is at a different spot in their lives.
Luckily for us, it went right smack dab in the middle.
I will admit there was a few times where we were sure we were about to leave but the girls shaped up.
One would fit throw then the next.
One would whine about something then the next.
Hudson was a champ.

Not one game was played tears were shed over this and we stayed almost 9 hours.
N I N E hours with 3 kids and a State Fair that doesn't sell beer or wine.
But all in all, I think we all had a blast.
We smelled pretty raunchy by the days end so the kids had wipe baths before getting in the car in clean clothes.
The weather reached 80 degrees but it was 100% humidity.
Harper kept saying her hair was sweaty.
We spent a lot of time in the FFA area.
They had lots of coloring, crafts, putt putt, fishing, and various safe play grounds and play areas for the kids.
So there you have it, we took on the Indiana State Fair as newcomers and really enjoyed it.
