Home at last!

The kids and I arrived home after 15 days on the road Thursday right around 7. The roads were great until the north side of Indy, almost to Fishers. We left Batesville at 9 that morning and pulled in our driveway at 7 (6 Central) with very few stops. The husband was lucky and flew directly in on Saturday. 

Our area is pretty frozen right now, much too cold to play outside so we are putting our energy to use taking down Christmas and putting away things.  We worked hard for 3 hours today and I think it is just about up. We didn't over decorate this year but did out up two large trees, decorations and nativity scenes brought out the house, a purple tree upstairs and lighted deer in the yard.

There is a lot of blogging to catch up on but first, I must finish the  5 travel bags of clothes and the tornado that went through the girls bedrooms.
