Valentines Day

Valentine's Day was low key this year. It snowed. Of course it snowed.  The girls love anytime to celebrate or give and receive gifts.  I still can't believe I did not take a picture of their cute little gifts.  Shame shame.

Harper had bee out of school for a while and was eager to go to her Valentine's Day party.  She was up at dawn, dressed herself, made her own waffle and was ready to go.  She loves school and all her friends. Sadly, she very rarely gets to go needing to avoid the germs with her compromised immune system.  I wish I could just wrap her in a bubble and send her every day just to see the smile on her face.

Hailey is the cutest little thing.  We picked out pink and red outfits all week long.  While they aren't allowed to have a party or bring any food, her teacher still allowed them to pass out cards.  We made little packaged with crayons, cards and stickers for both classes then did chocolate candy bars for the neighbors.

Working on a bucket of love for Hailey's teacher.

The husband and I were able to eat an early dinner at Chuy's on Valentine's Day, a rare treat for us.  Some days we feel like we celebrate from Christmas to Chris' birthday with all the events between the two.
