Busy Weekend

We've had a busy weekend around here.
I turned 32.
My mom came in town, my dad, we spent the night at the Bells.
HG had a friend stay the night, Mia Dia, the husband came home, picked out paint colors.
Lots of food, lots of cake, even more food.
Harper won't stop talking.
Oh how I love baby coos.
I have spent 6 hours in IKEA since Thursday.
Yes, SIX HOURS.
I'll blog about all of it later.
We're running out the door to yet check out more wood flooring.
Oh and to get diapers.
Harper had a blow out in her cloth one at IKEA.
major, icky, yuk.
Thank goodness Ikea supplies diapers.
Thank goodness for Costco and their 9 cent diapers when on sale.

Afraid Baby Addison and Meredith won the stare contest with Harper.

Yes, I know they are on backwards. At least she is wearing one.

IKEA & Pizza

The baby girl and I headed to IKEA after dropping HG off at school.
Thank goodness for the drive thru Starbucks by her school, I was going on 3 hours of sleep.
I was on a mission today.
3 hours, a few dozen notes, new plates, bowls, cups and sliver ware for the girls I headed home.
Oh, and a train set.
Mission complete.
I had lunch for $4.50.
So cheap.
"

I showed a house.
HG got her buffet pizza,
I may or may not have had 7 pieces of pizza and a few brownies.
I'll never admit to it.
The rest of the day was playing with the train, wrapping gifts and a Strawberry Shortcake movie marathon.
Crazy amount of birthdays around now.
Crazy.

Busy weekend.
Super busy.
Mom and Scott arrive tomorrow.
Kalli is staying the night.
Mom is playing on Saturday.
The husband comes home Saturday just in time to take me to dinner.:):):)
Playing at the Bells.
Poppy arrives early Sunday.
Babe's.
HG has ordered me a Rapunzel purple cake.
Score.

Fudge Pops

It is midnight and here I sit eating a fudge pop.
The people above us are slamming the patio door.
It is right above my head in bed.
They are smokers.
I think they smoke all freaking night long.
I wish they were pot heads so at least they would sleep.
I still haven't set off a blow horn yet.
I'm thinking about getting a pbj as well.
Might as well eat if I am going to be up.
Yep, we had a good dinner.
Lasanga, broccoli and freshly made biscuits.
I just can't seem to get full when breast feeding.

I'm sure she is wondering when her next meal is.
Girl likes to eat.
I think she would have taken a big bite of my piece of cake today.
Each bite I would take, she would suck as if she could taste the yummy pink icing.

Helping Mommy with the laundry.
She is the laundry helper around here.

This color was stunning on her.

We had a challenging afternoon around here.

Three's make terrible two's look innocent.

She was very sweet tonight after a long 2 1/2 hour nap.

Park time

Yes, you read that correctly.
The girls and I headed to the park this afternoon.
Without checking the weather first.
While it is warm and beautiful, the wind is brutal.
Like make your ears hurt wind.
I kept Harper fully covered in a stroller while HG had 5 minutes.
She was so snotty by the time we got back to the car.
I think she finally realized why we couldn't be outside in that mess.
HG was given a dose of Zyrtec and I pray she isn't crazy stuffy tomorrow.
We're already due to recheck Harper at the dr.
Just when I am finally over my hormone migraines, I am doomed to get an allergy one.
Great!

Just walked in to see what was taking HG so long to wash her hands.

Whelp, she said her hands were extra dirty and then washed the dishes.

Quite the little helper.

When she wants to.

Thankful for Rosa's BOGO that they sent out for my birthday.

It's dinner!

Happy 1/2 Birthday Hailey Grace!

Happy 1/2 Birthday my beautiful 40 pound HG.
I can't believe how much you are growing.
Daddy and I love you more than you can ever imagine.
You are so loving to Harper and all your friends, so motherly.
Harper just watches you and loves you dearly.
You are too damn funny.
All kids are funny but you take the award on that one.
Goodness, you are funny!
I love how you tell me you love me million times a day..
I love that you tell me that I am your best friend a million times a day.
I love that at the end of the day you tell me that it was the best day ever.
If I am sad, you do everything possible to make me happy.
You care too much about people, it is amazing.
I love how you are so into picking your clothes out.
They might not always match but your cuteness makes up for it.
People flock to you just to talk and tell you they love your outfit.
Then you capture their heart with your personality.
We are so lucky God gifted you to us.

Third time is a charm

I've always somewhat believed things happened in 3's.
It seems how things roll around here.
Just like this time....
Our third house, our third offer this month.
They accepted our offer.
I can't tell you how excited we are.
More on our new house later but I will leave you with a picture of it.
Many of you know what the inside looks like.
No, it is not a forclosed home.
Helps cook every meal.
She reminds me of Auntie Collins.

Piggy back rides are the best.

Yep, that is make up on the ballerina.

Rolls are here to stay!

The husband works all weekend.

Talk about our luck.

A birthday party tomorrow for Jessica, he works.

A 30th birthday dinner for Brooke tomorrow, he works.

Plus no one to watch the girls.

I hate Mia and Auntie Collins being so far away!

I have our Baptism class tomorrow.

With the way Lent falls this year, we can't have Harper Baptized until May.

We really wanted to do it earlier.

And the Church has it set for a Holiday weekend.

The husband leaves next week and home in time for Saturday night.

We're working on the girls having someone watch them for a few hours.

It is my birthday weekend.

The girls and houses

Our weekend was full of house shopping and the girls.
We spent all three days revolving our time around houses except for a quick grocery trip and a birthday party.
I lost count of houses.
I lost count of the times we told HG to please be quiet and let Harper sleep.
Please be quiet and whisper or talk quietly when singing Taylor Swift.
We have so many Ipads, computers, Dvd players, etc and did not have a one.
Smart.
We found houses we loved.
We found houses we just kept on driving by.
We found houses that stunned us by the way people lived.
We found yards that two houses could fit into.
While we would love to stay in Grapevine, it is looking like we will be moving a little west.
Grapevine is so hard to find what you want and when you do, you better make an offer fast and the asking amount.
The husband does not want to go as far as Keller if possible.
BUT would like to be in KISD schools.
We're crazy about education and not very many public systems we will send them.
I don't want to get a bad foreclosure and work my tail off on it.
I just don't have the time and it won't get any better, only busier over the years.
We're hopefully meeting in the middle.
Our first offer on a house did not work out.
I think we were both somewhat crushed.
The house was in an ideal neigborhood and it was so ME.
Very traditional.
But the husband really liked it and had big plans for it.
Unfortunately, we were not fast enough finding the house and making an offer.
It was already put up to be auctioned.
Not the typical auction on the court house steps but rather an online auction similar to ebay.
I laughed when I wanted to cry.
Really?
An auction like ebay for this beautiful house.
Goodness.
We don't have time to wait through the auction.
That is why we spent all weekend running from house to house.
The girls were honestly so good.
The first day, Harper slept the entire time.
Like all 6 hours.
Girl was plum worn out from Aunt Tonia.
The next day, she was caught up on her sleep so it was a little more challenging.
But, over all they were great.
We hope one of the houses works out.
Hopefully in a day or two we will know something.
Say a prayer, we are running out of time and don't want to lease a house and have to pay $2000 per month.
Yikes.

Here are a few pictures of our sweet things.

The laughter just shouts through this picture.

Rolls finally!

Curious George

At the little one's MDO, Curious George goes home with each of the kids for the weekend.

A few week back was ours.

Just like 3 year olds, George is curious and always into things.

When it was out weekend, HG was beyond excited.

Tons of pictures, a report with pictures sent back to school for HG to tell her class about their exciting weekend and a bath, he was headed back.

We were lucky enough to see George today at a birthday party.

It is his weekend at Charlie's house.
