Hailey Grace turns 6

Our precious Hailey Grace turned 6 today.  She is the perfect mix between sweet and fiery along with some attitude.  HG has two younger siblings who worship her beyond measure which is a wonderful thing but can also have some downfalls.  She is such a good big sister.

HG starts Kindergarten in less than a month, beginning a new phase of life for us all.  We decided to try the public school system here after everyone we encounter tells us how amazing it is. Every.single.person. People from all over the state and surrounding areas have relocated just to put their kids in this district.  We are all nervous and excited at the same time.  I've been showing HG how to carry a tray incase she would like to eat lunch at school some days. The husband thinks we are nuts practicing this. She will need many more presentable outfits, aka half way matching ones, going to school 5 days a week.  This is a big change from Pre K two days a week.

We celebrated this morning with chocolate chip waffles, a tea party, presents and a princess cake.

Big girl wears a size 2!

She couldn't sleep last night, all she could focus on was her birthday.
I think she might have slept 5-6 hours.

Princess Elsa Hailey Grace

They are freezing you incase you aren't familiar with Disney Frozen.
The afternoon was spent at Saxony Beach, just a few miles from our house.
The girls loved it, the water was cold but we enjoyed it.

Hudson dipped his feet in, we weren't too sure about the water supply so wanted to keep him dry.
Back in Elsa after a bath.
Take out for dinner of HG's choice.
Hudson is almost comfortable sitting in this high chair for the entire dinner.
When Harper bounces and won't sit still, she gets put in a high chair. :/

Happy Birthday Hailey Grace we love you more than you will ever know.

  1. Happy Birthday HG! She looks so beautiful in those pictures. Too funny because I was SO nervous about Boyd carrying a tray for lunch. Maybe that is why he only bought 2 times in Kindergarten. :) I was told early on that they do have a ton of help at lunch, so I shouldn't worry, but I still did. HG will love school!
