Big Tex

After swearing we wouldn't take Hailey Grace to the State Fair, we gave in. She loved it. The rides however are crazy expensive. 7 dollars for she and I to ride one ride. We will continue to travel to the Four States Fair in Texarkana for the rides. They also had a better selection of kiddie stuff. And they don't charge the adults to ride with the kids.
We had wonderful fair food and I think our favorite was the turkey legs. Well the Fletcher's Corn dog was for HG.

We spent over 3 hours walking around and having a lot of fun. Boy, oh boy was it crowded. I was shocked at the crowd.

Up, up and away we go!

So excited about her Popsicle!

Can you tell I'm excited? I felt really bad most of the day and you can tell in this picture.

The cutest little baby donkey!

Feeding the goats

She loves the petting zoo

Showing daddy the animals

Reminds us of Estes Park

Can you see the excitement??

Love some pickles!!

Chillin' with her juice and pickle. (We were hoping it would relieve some pressure)

The leash!
Over all the fair was a great time. Hailey Grace did really well even with a belly ache and her allergies started in full force while out there. I'm sure it was a mixture of her flu mist, the front coming in and the petting zoo.
Once arriving home, her belly ache was back in action and she was in tears. A warm bath close to midnight and a suppository finally helped work out her issues. Chris and I hate to see her in so much pain. We're going to up the fiber in this little girl's life for sure.

  1. FUN! I really wanted to get to the State Fair this year, but we didn't. We will try next year. It looks like you guys had a great time. Love the picture of Hailey with her popsicle!
