Super sunny Saturday

We woke to Poppy bringing us chicken minis.
HG loves chicken minis.
Mommy too!!


Our day started off at the park with Cheyna and Ethan.
It was a beautiful day.
Beautiful I tell ya!
The breeze was just right.
The ducks were fed cheats and bread.
Lots of swinging.
Lots of vitamin D from the sun.
Lots of dirty kids.
HG thanked me o much for letting her play with Ethan.
So precious!
I just hate that I forgot my camera and didn't pull out my cell.

Next up was lunch at Julie's with Poppy.
HG wanted a burger with French fries.
That is all she would agree to eat.
And a pink cup cake.
So the two of us shared a yummy burger while Poppy dined on much healthier options.
I felt guilty.
HG most definitely did not feel guilty.
Poppy had just finished 5 1/2 miles at the track.
And HE was eating healthy.....
oh well, it wasn't the first bad meal of the day and surely wouldn't be the last.

After a few errands, wrapping a gift and setting up Matt's surprise birthday cake, our super sweet cousins arrived.
HG was SO excited.
She talks about them all the time.
They are so good to her.
Immediately, she and Ms Laura as she calls her were buddies.
HG rarely left her side.
Spent time playing in the sprinkler.
Lots of bubbles and chalk.
Dogs.
Peacocks.
Bounce houses.
Games.
Water guns.
Lee's catfish.
Birthday presents.
Birthday cake.
Oh the fun we had.
Why can't they just live with us is always HG's question when they leave.
